Subject	Spare Tire Well Alterations

Message	Has anyone cut out the spare tire well and altered it? It's a good place to put various things (battery relocate, methanol reservoirs, amps, whatever) but the round hole isn't the ideal shape for most things. Would it be safe to cut it out and weld in a custom box or would that be bad for the structure/performance of the body?
